About me
Although I dabbled with art as an opportunity for success, what really paints a picture of me are the pastimes and lifestyle I’ve manifested on top of illustrations.
To reiterate, my name is Robin Yoshihiro Ichijo Carino. I’m a student currently enrolled at Mira Costa College hoping to transfer and major in animation.
It wasn't until I was 15 when a goal had finally been set. I fell in love with the work of Todd McFarlane and spent at least 2 hours a day studying his online lessons and practicing my skills so that I'd have a better chance pursuing a career as an artist.
Although my academic goals may assume me to become a traditional artist, a deeper love for story-telling has always glorified my true aspiration for film directing and screenwriting.
Aside from traditional art (yet very similarly,) I have a lot of fun making music on GrageBand with my MIDI keyboard.
Funny enough, I was actually born into a family with a long history of musicians. My mom(being one of them) wanted my sister and I to start practicing the ukulele so that we could all together, and ever since then it has become another hobby of mine!
I never asked for a father, but if I did, who's to say he'd even be one. I've realized that two of my greatest goals in life are to find happiness and wisdom - goals that I'm thankful for setting yet would've been impossible without the greatest inspiration in my life, my best friend, Albert.
